What's Killing Darlings?
They say if you want to become a better writer, then you better learn to kill your darlings. Born out of a desire to create a structure that supports writers of all kinds and styles, Killing Darlings is a low stakes writing Workshop Series provided by OMG! Education, that seeks to cultivate a flexible environment where writers are able to explore new ideas and further develop others, and perhaps kill a few darlings, while also connecting in a community sharing a similar goal.
Composed of a cohort of six writers, Killing Darlings meets online every 2 weeks in a 3 month cycle, to workshop a sample of writing or an idea / project facilitated by a Teaching Artist. Each person will have the opportunity to complete two workshops focused on developing their own work and four workshops to provide feedback and support others within the cohort.
Interested? Submit an application today to join this Killing Darlings cohort. There are only six spots available so this application will close once all seats are filled. Questions? Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
